 With the soul and energy of a child in the body of an internationally acclaimed performing artist, Gronich embraces his piano and bewitches the tones.  His entire being becomes total music, boundaries are diffused. Always surprising, soaring and floating, innovative and captivating, soulful and sensitive, enthusing humour and innocence . . .

 Shlomo Gronich is a highly prolific, gifted, multi-faceted artist. He composes classical music, performed by leading ensembles and orchestras in Israel and abroad, as well as pop, jazz, world music, and music for cinema, theater and dance.  Among the many prizes and awards he has received is the "ACUM" (Israel Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers) Prize for his contribution to musical life in Israel.  He recorded his first LP in 1971 and has since released another 18 records and CDs.

 Gronich is an exciting performer - as pianist and vocalist - as soloist, and in collaboration with numerous artists, and is one of Israel’s most well-known and original musicians.  Throughout his extensive musical career he has acquired a reputation as a unique, incomparable artist who creates cross-cultural bridges through his master musicianship.  He offers a vast repertoire and an array of performances suitable for different audiences.

 His 60^th birthday coincides with that of the State of Israel. A myriad scope of musical genres, styles and ensembles are available when programming

 Shlomo Gronich’s exciting new project presents Biblical and sacred texts set to original music.  This moving and unique journey by a non-religious musician to the ancient sources of his identity offers a contemporary musical interpretation of the eternal words of the Bible. Shlomo’s distinctive musical style weaves a unique spiritual experience, timeless and highly personal, profound and joyously playful, allowing the audience a rare experience of the infinite.

 This celebrated choir of young immigrants from Ethiopia is returning with touching and well-known songs such as "The Journey to the Land of Israel”, “An Israeli Song”, and “Hot Soil”. A new generation of young children brings fresh, magical sounds to this unique Choir.

The repertoire includes original music composed by Gronich, based on the inspiring rhythms and melodies of Ethiopian music brought to Israel by the children, traditional Jewish music, and original songs and tunes that deal with reality and tales from the children's lives.  New songs composed by Gronich specifically for the choir have been added recently.

SHLOMO GRONICH & the SHEBA choir have represented Israel throughout the world - at the Zionist Congress in Brussels, at Lincoln Center in New York, for former President Bill Clinton during his visit to Israel, and numerous other historical occasions.

 Touching Heaven is an electrifying concert of authentic Jewish music in new and surprising original arrangements. Joyous and mischievous improvisations by Shlomo Gronich - Vocals, Piano, Shofar, and the soul clarinetist Hanan Bar Sela - an acclaimed world known klezmer with his own unique style.

Two cultures meet in an exciting piano encounter. Two virtuoso pianists and master musicians in a concert of thrilling improvisation. Leonid Petashka plays jazz with powerful intensity, sophisticated technique and remarkable sensitivity, a brilliant performer. Shlomo Gronich brings his own unique style and Israeli energy.  Petashka and Gronich - so different from each other, yet so similar.  An Israeli & a Russian in love with music, a fascinating Jazzy-Gypsy Adventure!

 

 The mythological duo - Shlomo Gronich and Matti Caspi - two of the most important musicians in Israel, unite to present a mature performance of Israeli classics they have created - individually and together.

New songs, alongside the classics:” TZIUR”, “VE'OTACH”, “SYMPATHY” and more, make this a high quality concert.  Surprising improvisations, lots of humor and laughter, and Israeli nostalgia.  An exceptional show…
